KCRW Music Mine
Developed by PRX for iPad
KCRW and PRX are proud to introduce Music Mine, an immersive listening experience for the iPad. Los Angeles public radio station KCRW is known for exposing listeners to eclectic music and new artists. Music Mine presents that music exploration in an interactive app:
- Discover new music refreshed daily based on selections from KCRW’s world-famous DJs.
- Learn more about artists through video, blog posts, and artist-related news pulled together by The Echo Nest, a music intelligence service.
- Listen to playlists of KCRW’s DJ sets, including exclusive videos of in-studio performances.
- Stream Eclectic24, KCRW’s all-music channel.
Music Mine was developed by Public Radio Exchange (PRX), and designed in collaboration with Roundarch. The Echo Nest provided advanced music content aggregation.
